Resource Navigation: Professional & Strategic Outreach Program

At The Bridge United, Resource Navigation goes beyond simply connecting individuals to services — it fuels our entire mission. Led by our Executive Director with support from board leaders and TBU Community Ambassadors, this program actively cultivates partnerships with organizations, agencies, foundations, and service providers. Together, we build a well-informed, accessible network that blends TBU digital tools with personal outreach, ensuring that everyone can find the help they need

Home Safety Support Program: Modifications & Accessibility Aid

The Home Safety Support Program delivers practical, accessible solutions that empower seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities to safely age in place. Managed by The Bridge United’s Project Coordinator and Volunteer Leads; this program enhances long-term independence and quality of life. By combining targeted safety modifications with personalized support, we reduce fall risks and improve mobility—blending hands-on care with streamlined access to resources.

Community Engagement & Direct Support Program

Volunteer-Led Outreach Services

This volunteer-powered program, coordinated by The Bridge United’s Social Services Manager, amplifies our hands-on impact by delivering direct assistance to households in need—especially low-income seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities facing barriers to essential services.

Through coordinated efforts, trained volunteers and staff collaborate to provide compassionate support, bridging gaps between resources and the community members who need them most.

Advocacy & Legislative Engagement Committee

Mobilizing Voices. Strengthening Connections.

This program equips staff, volunteers, and board members to stay informed about issues affecting underserved communities and to share accurate, timely information with the public and decision-makers. We focus on building relationships, facilitating dialogue, and ensuring that community needs are clearly communicated at local, state, and federal levels.
By amplifying community voices, The Bridge United strengthens its role as a connector—not only to vital services but also to opportunities for constructive systems improvement.
