Winter Storm Alert: Help Share Warming Shelter Resources Across Metro Atlanta
- Jan 23
- 2 min read

As freezing temperatures and icy conditions impact Georgia, warming shelters across Metro Atlanta are opening to provide safe, heated spaces for individuals and families in need.
During severe weather, information can be the difference between safety and danger. Many people who need shelter do not have reliable internet access, transportation, or real-time updates. Seniors, unhoused individuals, families in crisis, and people with disabilities often rely on others to help connect them to resources.
The Bridge United is calling on our community to help spread the word. Share this information, print it, post it, and pass it along to anyone who may need it.
Below is a current list of warming shelters and support resources in Cobb, Fulton, and DeKalb counties, followed by additional regional options.
