Today, we pause with deep gratitude.
Veterans Day, observed each year on November 11, marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I in 1918 — a moment of peace that has echoed through generations. Across the country, communities take time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering service of the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.
At The Bridge United, this day carries special meaning.
Throughout our work —we have had the honor of meeting and supporting veterans from across our community. Each story has reminded us that service does not end when the uniform comes off. Our veterans continue to shape their neighborhoods, their families, and the future of our communities.
To every veteran we’ve met through the program:
It has been our privilege to assist you. Thank you for allowing us into your lives and trusting us as partners. Most of all, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your continued strength.
As a state public holiday, many offices, schools, and businesses pause today — and we join neighbors across Georgia in doing the same: taking a moment to reflect, to appreciate, and to honor.
