Extreme heat can affect anyone, but it can be especially dangerous for older adults, young children, individuals with disabilities, people with chronic medical conditions, outdoor workers, and anyone without reliable air conditioning.
The Bridge United is committed to connecting our community with trusted resources during periods of extreme heat.
If you need a safe place to cool down, the following official resources provide current information about cooling centers, hydration stations, recreation centers, pools, and emergency services throughout Metro Atlanta.

The Bridge United Street Team
During periods of extreme heat, The Bridge United / TBU Street Team will be throughout the community distributing:
Cold bottled water
Sports drinks and electrolyte beverages (as available)
Heat safety information
Resource flyers
Connections to trusted community services
