Bridging Gaps, Strengthening Communities

At the Bridge UNITED
The Bridge United is a nonprofit resource hub that works to connect individuals and families with support that can improve safety, stability, and quality of life.
As a volunteer-powered organization, we focus on addressing food access, home safety and housing preservation for aging in place, and other barriers that can impact daily living. We place a strong emphasis on helping low-income community members and individuals facing physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges better understand and access free or low-cost programs that support independence and dignity.
Rooted in Community. Powered by Connection.
Our call center, staff, volunteers, and Bridge Ambassadors work together to help make the process feel more manageable—from intake to referrals—so individuals and families can better navigate available support.
We Build Bridges.
By collaborating with grassroots groups, nonprofits, and community partners, we work to keep resource information current and focused on what matters most—helping connect people to support and reduce gaps where possible.
Connecting People to Resources.
Whether you’re unsure where to start or feeling overwhelmed by options, we strive to be a place you can begin—helping you identify programs, services, and connections that may be available to you.
Together, we are building a stronger network of connection, collaboration, and shared effort—because when people are connected to the right information and support, navigating challenges can feel a little less overwhelming.
Serving the Atlanta Metro Core 13 + Expanded 29 Counties, with a long-term vision to expand our reach and serve additional communities over time.
Why It Matters
Many individuals and families face challenges that aren’t always visible—such as limited internet access, transportation barriers, or simply not knowing where to start.
Even when resources are available, navigating them can feel overwhelming.
The Bridge United works to help reduce those barriers by combining accessible information with community-based support—so people can better understand what options may be available to them.
Through a mix of digital access and in-person connection, we aim to make the process feel more approachable and easier to navigate.
Because when people have clearer access to information and support, it can make a meaningful difference in how they move forward.
When people are connected to the right information and support, navigating challenges can feel a little less overwhelming
